FAQ

Are your oils food-safe?
Yes! Both Deylina Hardwax and LediCode Finishing Oil are 100% non-toxic, food-safe, and free from harmful VOCs once cured. They’re safe for kitchen countertops, dining tables, and even cutting boards.

Can I use Incrediwood finishes on outdoor wood?
Absolutely. Both Deylina and LediCode are designed for indoor and outdoor use. For outdoor projects, we recommend applying two to three coats and ensuring the wood is properly sealed for long-term weather protection.

Do the oils have a strong smell?
No — both Deylina and LediCode have very low to no odor, and contain zero VOCs. You can comfortably apply them indoors without strong fumes or lingering smells.

How long does it take for the oil to fully cure?
The surface is usually dry to the touch within a few hours, but full polymerization occurs over 5–6 days when exposed to regular light (LED or fluorescent). After that, your surface is at maximum hardness and durability.

Can I use your oils on cutting boards or butcher blocks?
Yes! Both finishes are completely food-safe and water-resistant once cured. Deylina is especially popular for butcher blocks and countertops because of its extra durability.

Do I need special equipment or UV lamps to cure the oil?
No — that’s the beauty of our polymer technology! The finish cures naturally under any light source, including LED or fluorescent shop lighting. No UV lamps, heat guns, or special tools required.
