Hello everyone,
My name is Dr. Assaf Y. Cohen, and I’m from Israel.

Before entering the world of wood finishes, I spent many years in academia, earning my Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. degrees in Biology. During that time, I had the privilege of working extensively with Analytical Chemistry, which became a foundation for everything I do today.

Years after completing my Ph.D., while teaching at the university, I found myself spending time in a small workshop — building simple woodworking projects just for the joy of it.

As I explored different finishes, I noticed a recurring pattern: every product had its strengths, but also serious drawbacks 

• Low durability

• Toxicity

• Unpleasant odors

• Long curing times

• Complex application processes

So, I made a decision.

I went back to the place I knew best — the laboratory — determined to develop a finish that would solve these problems once and for all.

After significant time of experimentation and testing, we discovered something truly extraordinary:

A completely new material — unlike anything known to the wood finish industry.

 

It proved to be fully food-safe, highly durable, and capable of polymerizing faster and stronger than anything we had tested before. Even under extreme conditions where other finishes failed, this one thrived.
